Seuss, We Love You! I think the best way to honor a person that you admire is to imitate their good qualities. And isnt that the best way to promote good in this world? His books will stand the test of time for the simplicity and goodness they promoted to children.
My grandkids and I share Dr. Seuss books and have Cat in the Hat pancakes with bananas, whipped cream and maraschino cherries. I am a lead teacher at a daycare that works with 3 and 4 year olds. We love to read our Dr. Seuss books, we have almost the whole set. My favorite is Green Eggs and Ham. We celebrate with arts and crafts and reading Dr Seuss books all day. My 2 youngest grandchildren love Dr Seuss and could read or listen to me read to them every day. My daughter was born on Dr Suess day so we have a great themed pay for her and instead of goody bags give out Dr Suess books!
