It is the life-changing, inspired, infallable, inerrant, Word of the Living God. This edition featuring study notes by Charles Ryrie is outstanding. Ryrie was a brilliant theologian and his notes are based on over 50 years of study. His teacher's heart comes through and he communicates in an easy to read and understand style. This study Bible is the best Bible I've ever owned.
It has excellent footnotes and cross-references. I usually don't even need a concordance! I got it for Christmas last year and it's been my devotional companion ever since!!
Things I've learned from this book? It's a life-changer, no doubt about that!! I learned to read when I was six using the Bible, and I've been reading God's letter to us all ever since. Although I'm sure I would not agree with some of Ryrie's notes today, this was a fantastic study Bible for me to cut my teeth on as a teenager. Helpful notes, charts, and timelines. I love this version the best. I would love to have it in large print.
